| Born in Hull, Nick Tindall trained originally
as an Architectural Draughtsman in a Local Authority architects office,
where he produced working drawings for building projects throughout the
East Riding of Yorkshire. However, as an artist he is self taught and
is happiest depicting Northern landscapes and seascapes in watercolour,
gouache, and acrylics. |

Nick draws inspiration
from the skills of the early watercolourists such as Thomas Girtin and
John Varley, and is a keen admirer of the works of Edward Hopper.
His work is in private collections both in the UK
and overseas. |
