Born in Leeds, artist Peter Bell now lives in the Yorkshire
city of Hull with his wife and three young children. Working almost
exclusively in pastel and acrylic - medium's that lend themselves perfectly
to his colourful imagery - Peter Bell's paintings are about the moment.
Simple pleasures. Peter Bell's warmth, humour and wit shine through
in the paintings, whilst engaging the viewers with his natural fluency
in subject and composition - which is all the more remarkable for someone
without formal training. Peter Bell has always admired the work of artist
